We’ve made just a handful of these Limited Edition Jeroboam bottles, each containing over 4 x 70cl bottles of our Dorset Dry Gin.

The Dorset Dry is a classic, London Dry inspired gin that embodies the bright and refreshing spirit of Dorset.

Distilled in Bournemouth from 10 select botanicals, including marsh samphire, elderberries and hand-picked gorse flowers foraged from across the Dorset Jurassic Coast.

The Dorset Dry sings with tonic and a lime peel garnish for a crisp and refreshing G&T with a long and lingering citrus finish.

The Ten Botanicals of the Dorset Dry

Classic and Juniper led for that refreshing G&T and intricate Martini, but with a little something fresh from Dorset.

Each botanical plays it part in delivering a moreish gin full of a crisp dry spice, a comforting blend of citrus, and a long herbaceous freshness from our Dorset inspired botanicals.

1/10 - Gorse Flowers

Ulex europaeus

Foraged from our Dorset clifftops, Gorse lifts the Dorset Dry from its classic London Dry roots, adding a subtle nectar sweetness and hints of camomile and honey.

2/10 - Marsh Samphire

Salicornia europaea

Found growing in the salty shallows of Dorset’s coastline, Marsh Samphire is distilled to remove its intense saltiness, revealing herbaceous green flavours akin to green tea and a remarkable vegetal sweetness.

3/10 - Elderberry

Sambucus

Elderberries bring a cooling blueberry-like fruitiness from Dorset’s hedgerows and neighbouring New Forest. A good nose can pick out Elderberries lingering jammy finish to our Dorset Dry Gin.

4/10 - Juniper Berry

Juniperus communis

The vital component in gin and the headline act in the Dorset Dry Gin, adding woody spice and piney dryness. Fun fact – this is no berry, its a modified pine cone.

5/10 - Coriander Seed

Coriandrum sativum

A usual suspect in a London Dry, and used in the Dorset Dry in the absence of lemon peel in the botanical mix.

6/10 - Angelica Root

Angelica archangelica

Works as a drying agent in the Dorset Dry Gin, adding a bitterness that’s essential to its classic, London Dry Gin foundation.

7/10 - Orris Root

Iris germanica

Used less for its flavour and more for its trickery in binding and enhancing flavours, giving longevity to the gin. Derived from the root of the Iris flower.

8/10 - Cassia Bark

Cinnamomum cassia

Cassia bark adds a layer of sweet spiced complexity to the Dorset Dry, bridging the gaps between the piney juniper and the bold citrus melody of coriander seed, bitter orange and lime.

9/10 - Bitter Orange

Citrus aurantium

Welcoming notes of warm rich sweet citrus that round off the spice and heat from juniper and cassia bark. This comforting orange is paired with the bright, crisp punctuation of fresh lime peel.

10/10 - Lime Peel

Citrus × latifolia

Subtle when neat, yet when diluted with tonic the lime peel jumps forward, self-garnishing the drink with a refreshing lime zest bite. Clawingly dry, moreish and inviting.
