The Art of Decaffeination
We source coffees that have been decaffeinated in their Country of origin using the sustainable and gentle Sugarcane Decaffeination Process.
Also known as natural decaffeination or ethyl acetate (EA) processing, it uses ethyl acetate, a natural byproduct of sugarcane processing , to wash the caffeine from the coffee beans.
The process enhances the coffee’s sweetness and acidity, while leaving most of its other flavour compounds intact.
