Learn to make bartender quality cocktails and enjoy a guided tasting of our range of award-winning spirits.
Join us at the Conker Distillery for a two-hour interactive Cocktail Masterclass perfect for enthusiasts, aspiring mixologists, or anyone who simply loves a good tipple!
You’ll be immersed in the dark art of drink mixology, learning the principles of a great cocktail including flavour balance, mixing techniques and Bartender tips and hacks.
After making (and drinking!) four different styles of drinks, you’ll be armed with the foundation skills needed to whip up tasty cocktails at home.

What you'll get up to...
- Enjoy a Conker Gin & Tonic while you get comfortable at your cocktail making station.
- Experience a guided tasting of our range of spirits, exploring the Botanicals and Speciality Coffees used.
- You will make four different cocktails, each with a different spirit, covering the key cocktail styles and mixology techniques; Shaken, Stirred, Built and a Sour Hi-Ball.
- You’ll learn the inside secrets and trade hacks of cocktail creation and explore the principles of what makes a great cocktail. i.e. Such as flavour balance and the all-important bitter-sweet ‘bliss point’, choosing the right glass, drink presentation and garnishing.

How to find us.
Our Distillery is located in the Seaside town of Southbourne in Bournemouth. We are 15 minute walk from Southbourne High Street and Pokesdown Train Station.
By Car:
There is plenty of roadside parking. We have non-alcoholic alternatives for all nominated drivers.
Pokesdown Train Station – 5 minute Taxi
Bournemouth Train Station – 25 minute Taxi
Christchurch Train Station – 20 minute Taxi
Dogs:
We are sorry but we can’t have dogs in the Distillery. With the exception of Assistance Dogs.

If you are planning a group knees-up and require an exclusive masterclass just for you and your crew, we are very happy to take private group bookings. Simply contact us and we will find a date that works for you.
